The Warrnambool Symphony Orchestra with guest soloists will present its 16th Annual Mothers Day Concert at St Joseph’s Church, Lava St at 2.30 p.m. on Sunday 12th May; Mothers Day.
Conductor Angus Christie has put together an uplifting program that is sure to delight both young and old, with the music of Mozart, Mussorgsky, Strauss, Rodriguez, Vaughan Williams, Leroy Anderson, Handel, Hummel, Sartori, Dvorak, Lully and Weinberger plus new works by Melbourne composer David Cundy.
This year’s guest soloists are Jennifer King - soprano, Andrea Li – flute, Claire Toffolon – bassoon and Charlie Young – trumpet.
