Step through five centuries in Warrnambool Theatre Company’s bold new production of Orlando, adapted for the stage by Neil Bartlett from the celebrated novel by Virginia Woolf.
Beginning in the court of Queen Elizabeth I, Orlando’s extraordinary journey travels through wars, revolutions, romance, and social change, crossing boundaries of time, gender, and identity along the way. Playful, poetic, and richly theatrical, this dazzling adaptation balances sharp humour with heartfelt humanity as Orlando searches for the freedom to be at home in their own life.
Filled with wit, transformation, and “great splashes of exaggeration,” Orlando remains as daring and relevant today as when Woolf first imagined it.

The roles of Orlando and Mrs G are performed by a double cast:
Rachel Pitt-Lancaster and Kate Head will perform on Saturday 12 September & Friday 18 September.
Dusk Baulch and Angela Verspay will perform on Sunday 13 September and Saturday 19 September.
