Osmonov + Elhay are back with a selection of their favourite jazz standards from the Blue Note era. Ruslan Osmonov (Piano) will be making a rare trip from NSW and has said he plans to make full use of the new upright piano in the Lighthouse Theatre foyer recently featured in the ABC series ‘The Piano’. Local jazz musician André Elhay (tenor sax/guitar/congas) will be filling the vast foyer space with his trademark fat tenor sound as the duo weave their way through some classic jazz and blues tunes. Ruslan and André are big latin fans, so there will also be a selection of beautiful bossa novas from Antonio Carlos Jobim plus a few ballads for good measure.
